On June 12, 2025, The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (the “Company”) announced the election of Robin Vince, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, to the additional position of Chair of the Board of Directors (the “Board”), effective September 1, 2025 (the “Effective Date”), to succeed Joseph J. Echevarria. In addition, the Company announced that Mr. Echevarria was elected by the independent members of the Board to serve as the Company’s lead independent director as of the Effective Date.
