Accounting Standards Update and Change in Accounting Principle [Abstract] | |
Recently Issued Accounting Pronouncements | Note 4 - Recently Issued Accounting Pronouncements In December 2023, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (“FASB”) issued Accounting Standards Update (“ASU”) 2023-09, Income Taxes (Topic 740): Improvements to Income Tax Disclosures. The guidance requires disaggregated information about a reporting entity’s effective tax rate reconciliation as well as information on income taxes paid. The ASU is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2024. Early adoption is permitted. The amendments in the ASU should be applied on a prospective basis, but retrospective application is permitted. We are continuing to evaluate the impact of this new guidance but believe the adoption will not have a material impact on our consolidated financial statements. In November 2024, the FASB issued ASU 2024-03, Income Statement—Reporting Comprehensive Income—Expense Disaggregation Disclosures (Subtopic 220-40): Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses. The guidance requires new financial statement disclosures in tabular format, disaggregating information about prescribed categories underlying any relevant income statement expense caption. The guidance is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2026, and interim periods within fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2027. Early adoption is permitted. The amendments in the ASU should be applied on a prospective basis, but retrospective application is permitted. The adoption will not have a material impact on our consolidated financial statements. |
