Short-term Investments | 4 Short-term Investments Short-term investments are classified as held-to-maturity, are initially recognized at fair value and are subsequently accounted for at amortized cost. They are comprised of guaranteed investment certificates and U.S. treasury bills with a maturity greater than 90 days but less than one year and, as such, are classified as current assets. As of March 31, 2025, $0.9 million in short-term investments were pledged as collateral for a letter of credit.
