1. Business
DiaMedica Therapeutics Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiaries, DiaMedica USA Inc. and DiaMedica Australia Pty Ltd. (collectively, we, us, our, DiaMedica and the Company), is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company committed to improving the lives of people suffering from preeclampsia (PE) and acute ischemic stroke (AIS). DiaMedica’s lead candidate, DM199, is the first pharmaceutically active recombinant (synthetic) form of the human tissue kallikrein-1 (KLK1) protein, an established therapeutic modality in Asia for the treatment of preeclampsia, acute ischemic stroke and other vascular diseases. Our common shares are publicly traded on The Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol “DMAC.” |
