Recently Issued Accounting Standards And Newly Issued Accounting Standards Not Yet Adopted | Recently Issued Accounting Standards In November 2023, the FASB issued ASU No. 2023-07, "Segment Reporting (Topic 280): Improvements to Reportable Segment Disclosure," which updates reportable segment disclosure requirements. The ASU primarily requires enhanced disclosures about significant segment expenses and information used to assess segment performance that are regularly provided to the chief operating decision maker. The Company adopted ASU 2023-07 effective January 1, 2024, and applied the disclosure requirements retrospectively to all prior periods presented in the financial statements. Upon adoption, the new standard did not have an impact on the Company's Consolidated Balance Sheets, Consolidated Statements of Comprehensive Income, or the Consolidated Statements of Cash Flows. Newly Issued Accounting Standards Not Yet Adopted In December 2023, the FASB issued ASU No. 2023-09, “Income Taxes (Topic 740): Improvements to Income Tax Disclosures.” The standard requires disaggregated information about a reporting entity’s effective tax rate reconciliation as well as information on income taxes paid. The guidance is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2024, with early adoption permitted, and should be applied on a prospective basis with the option to apply the standard retrospectively. The Company is currently evaluating the impact of adopting this ASU on our disclosures. In November 2024, the FASB issued ASU No. 2024-03, "Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses," which requires public business entities to provide disaggregated disclosures, in the Notes to the Consolidated Financial Statements, of certain expense categories that are included in expense line items on the face of the income statement. The guidance is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2026 and interim periods within fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2027 with early adoption permitted. The Company is currently evaluating the impact of adopting this ASU in our disclosures. The Company reviewed all other recently issued accounting pronouncements and concluded that they were either not applicable or not expected to have a significant impact to the consolidated financial statements.
