SEGMENT INFORMATION | SEGMENT INFORMATION Vimeo's Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") is the chief operating decision maker and allocates resources and assesses performance based upon consolidated "Net (loss) earnings" that is included in the accompanying consolidated statement of operations, primarily by monitoring actual results versus the Company's internal budget. Accordingly, the Company operates as a single operating segment. The measure of segment assets is reflected as "Total assets" in the accompanying consolidated balance sheet. Vimeo's revenue is derived primarily from fixed SaaS subscription fees paid by customers as discussed further in "Note 2—Revenue." Revenue and significant expenses regularly provided to the CEO to arrive at Segment net (loss) earnings are as follows:
(a) Other segment items primarily include stock-based compensation expense, credit card processing fees, software license and maintenance costs, and fees for professional services. (b) Other segment items also include "Depreciation ", "Amortization of intangibles", "Interest expense ", "Other income, net" (as detailed in Note 8—Financial Statement Details), and "Income tax provision", which are the same as the amounts in the accompanying consolidated statement of operations as the Company operates as a single operating segment.
