Segment Reporting [Abstract] | |
Segment Reporting | Segment Reporting We manage our business on a consolidated basis and therefore have one reportable segment: ownership and leasing of real estate properties. The chief operating decision maker, or CODM, is our President and Chief Operating Officer. The CODM assesses performance, allocates resources and makes strategic decisions based on net income (loss) as shown in our condensed consolidated statements of comprehensive income (loss). The CODM is also regularly provided with information on expenses related to our management agreements with RMR, which are detailed in Note 10. The measure of segment assets is reported as total assets in our condensed consolidated balance sheets.
