Recent Accounting Pronouncements | Recent Accounting Pronouncements Income Taxes - Improvements to Income Tax Disclosures (ASU 2023-09) In December 2023, the FASB issued ASU No. 2023-09, Income Taxes - Improvements to Income Tax Disclosures. This new guidance requires consistent categories and greater disaggregation of information in the rate reconciliation and greater disaggregation of income taxes paid by jurisdiction. ASU 2023-09 is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2024. Early adoption is permitted. The Company is currently evaluating the impact of this amendment on its consolidated financial statements but does not expect the effect of the adoption of ASU 2023-09 to be material. Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses (ASU 2024-03) In November 2024, the FASB issued ASU No. 2024-03, Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses. This new guidance is intended to increase transparency and comparability of financial statements by requiring disclosure of significant expense components for certain expenses on the face of the consolidated statement of operations. The ASU is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2026 and for interim periods within fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2027, with early adoption permitted. The Company is currently evaluating the impact that this standard will on its consolidated financial statements but does not expect the effect of the adoption of ASU 2024-03 to be material.
