Item 8.01 Other Events

On April 17, 2024, MetroCity Bankshares, Inc. announced the declaration of a quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per share on its common stock. This dividend is payable May 10, 2024, to shareholders of record as of May 1, 2024. A copy of the press release announcing the cash dividend is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
