| PENSION AND EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLANS | (K) PENSION AND EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLANS We sponsor several single-employer defined benefit plans and defined contribution plans, which together cover substantially all our employees. Benefits paid under the single-employer defined benefit plans covering certain hourly employees were historically based on years of service and the employee’s qualifying compensation over the last few years of employment. These plans have been frozen to new participants and new benefits within the last few years, with the last plan becoming frozen during fiscal 2020. Our defined benefit plans are all fully funded, with plan assets exceeding the benefit obligation at March 31, 2022. Due to the frozen status and current funding of the single-employer pension plans, our expected pension expense for fiscal 2023 is less than $0.1 million. |
